Progressing update


Finished up the brushes in the Trenchbroom level editor. Imported level to Blender and then split it up into parts, so that I can load each as a seperate cell.

I did have some problems with weird normals on the model, so it took about an hour to fix them all. The Trenchbroom editor is super useful, just that when the level is compiled and then loaded into . It looks like that the .map files for the editor are in plain text, so it will probably be pretty easy to write my own converter.


Modelling the actual level is finished, but I'll still have to bake lightmaps, set up lights, transitions and probably navmeshes for the level, but that will probably take 2 - 3 hours max.

I also finished making the enemy model and animating it, as well as creating viewmodels, all of them rigged, 2 of them still needs animations (about half an hour of work or so).


After that I will have everything I need to start working on the gameplay code probably will upload a new build of the game.
